I was born and raised in Kansas, joined the Navy at 23 and retired after 20 years.  While in the Navy I traveled around the world and lived in Italy for a short time.  After 17 years of government service with the Army and The VA I retired again. I currently make my home in Florida.

    In the Navy I started sketching to fill my time whenever away from his family.  While stationed in Kuwait and Iraq I did military sketches.  Many of my sketches can be found at https://ronald-welch.pixels.com/.
